I thrive on finding practical solutions to everyday challenges and bring patience, compassion, and a steady presence to everything I do.
Living in East Sussex with my husband and 3 daughters, I serve as a parent governor at a local primary school. I actively engage with the education system, advocating for children and families. I collaborate closely with school staff and other stakeholders.
This role strengthens my understanding of children’s needs. It also enhances my leadership and decision-making skills. Furthermore, this work complements my significant social work experience by providing practical insight into supporting families in real-life settings.
In my free time, I enjoy working in my garden. I also like watching Netflix in front of the open fire, and the odd glass of wine at the end of a busy week.
